‘Sunburn for Goa’, was a Virtual Music Festival to promote Goa and raise funds for COVID relief fund for Goa. The event went live on 29th August 2020 and featured World’s No. 1 DJ Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike headlining the show along with a whole host of popular artists. All proceeds from the show went to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund-Goa.The Covid19 pandemic has swept the world and has not only affected businesses across domains worldwide, with the Travel & Tourism industry being most impacted. Goa, the world’s top tourist destination, has been impacted in an unprecedented manner across sectors spanning Tourism, Hotels, Transport, F&B, Airlines and other affiliated miscellaneous SME businesses. Goa was the birthplace of Sunburn in 2007, and over the years Sunburn grew into one of the Top 3 Music Festivals in the world, while positioning Goa on the global dance music destination map. In the last 13 years, over 2 million people from across 51 countries have flown into Goa to attend Sunburn Goa in December.
